From a young age, I knew I wanted to help others. After exploring various careers, I finally found my calling when I became a licensed mental health social worker, offering support through the practice of counselling. 

Counselling is you giving yourself an opportunity to heal. Doing anything new is often scary and you may feel hesitant in taking this step. I would like to support you in taking this step to allow yourself the opportunity to build insight and heal from trauma or hurt, or create boundaries in overly challenging and complex relationships. 

I use a collaborative approach with the use of Cognitive-Behaviourial Therapy (CBT), Strength-Based and Solution Focused Approach that is culturally sensitive to offer the support you desire to move towards your goals to have the life and relationships that you desire. I have a Bachelors of Honours in Health and Social Work with a major in Psychology, as well as a Masters Degree in Social Work. 

I have over 5 years of experience working with children, adolescents, families and couples, providing trauma informed therapy regarding childhood trauma, family conflict and intimate partner violence.
